9th Grade Physical Science homework (all Freshmen)
ELA 10 (all Sophomores): Please read a novel of your choice. Be sure to explore how the symbolism supports its theme. Come prepared to share your analysis! See you in the fall.
Civics (all Seniors): For Civics, it's important to start exploring different topics in order to have a better understanding of what you will want to focus on as your passion issue for the semester. What issues would you like to be knowledgeable about enough that you will want to stay informed and talk about now as well as in 5 years, 10 years' time?
1. Pick 4 Throughline podcast episodes that interest you and schedule them out to fit your needs.
2. When you listen to an episode, take notes of the following:
a. Name and airdate of episode
b. What is the main question or issue the episode is exploring?
c. What connections does the podcast make between past and present? How does the episode show how history still shapes current events/beliefs?
d. What interested/surprised/ resonated with you most from the episode?
3. Please save your work in your Google Drive to be accessed during class.
