Students in the class of 2017 honored Benjamin Dressler at their school graduation ceremony by saving a seat for him, marked with flowers. Benjamin tragically lost his life in a private plane accident on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Florence, Oregon.

Brittany Boatright and Kandyce Cowart died tragically in a private plane accident on Sunday, October 15, 2005. At the time of their deaths, both girls were freshman at Aviation. The Aviation High School Community has been left with a void that will not be assuaged. We carry on with heavy hearts. Raisbeck Aviation continue to honor both Brittany and Kandy at our end of the year all school awards ceremony by presenting students with the Love of Learning and the Love of Life Awards.
