There are so many ways to be a part of the RAHS community, from mentoring to fundraising, from a single hour to a whole school year. We are excited to partner with companies, organization, and professionals from all fields and walks of life, and have opportunities to fit any schedule. No matter who you are and what you do, we have a place for you to join our amazing learning community.

Classroom guests and speakers

Share your story, education and career path, life lessons, insight and inspiration with students. Help kick off a project, demonstrate a skill or product, or make connections between classroom content and real world work.

class activities

Support a classroom activity for a day or over time. Share your expertise and real world examples, advise student teams, review drafts, share feedback, and evaluate student work.

Project Support

Co-develop projects with teachers, provide subject matter expertise, recruit project partners from your network; research or collect project resources; mentor student groups or teams, and evaluate student work.

Field experiences

Support field trips and site visits; help coordinate job shadows; arrange internships or host interns, and coordinate student volunteer or community service opportunities.

Career exploration & Readiness

Teach and model practical and personal workplace skills; work with students on resumes, cover letter, application, and interviewing, and guide education and career exploration.

Team & club coaching & mentoring

Robotics, green energy, science olympiad, speech & debate, aviation & aerospace clubs (Aviation Career Experience, Women in Aviation, American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics), affinity groups, and community service groups all need support. Guest speakers, subject matter experts, event chaperones, and more.

Recruit from your professional network - help get inquiries and opportunities to the right people, connect teachers and advisors with mentors or resources, help build and grow school partnerships in the aviation & aerospace industry.

Join our Industry Advisory Committee

Help us plan programming for the future and stay relevant to the future needs of the aviation & aerospace industry. Have a voice in strategic planning, and support community and industry engagement and partnerships.

Fundraising

Support our annual auction, secure in-kind donations, advise on technology acquisition, support grant writing, and support fundraising for student teams and clubs
